A full-time Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available, serving K-12 students within a public school district. This role is designed for an SLP fluent in both English and Spanish, supporting a range of students through evaluation and intervention services. The contract runs from January 5, 2026, through May 28, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations as part of the districts evaluation team.
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across multiple campuses.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using district resources and technology.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Utilize available assessment tools and materials provided by the district.
- Participate in district meetings and professional development opportunities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple campuses in an itinerant role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work on-site with hybrid remote option (one day per week).
Job Details:
- Full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week; 7.5-hour days).
- On-site presence primarily required with one remote workday allowed weekly.
- Itinerant role covering several campuses, with an office base at the Student Support Center.
